New web portal launched - www.serbiamdtf.org

A new web portal for the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Justice Sector Support for Serbia (MDTF-JSS) has been launched and can be accessed at www.serbiamdtf.org.

The over-arching objective of the MDTF-JSS, a multi-donor technical assistance and advisory services facility, is to facilitate Serbia’s justice sector EU integration and strengthen aid effectiveness in Serbia’s justice sector. The MDTF-JSS currently comprises contributions from the United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands and Slovenia. The MDTF-JSS is jointly executed by the World Bank and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia.

The MDTF-JSS web portal includes detailed information about the facility, its activities and objectives. It also provides information about the donors and key partners, includes a database with key documents pertaining to justice sector reform issues in Serbia and lists announcements on procurement and employment opportunities. The web portal also includes a feedback feature through which the visitors are encouraged to post comments and ask questions. The web portal will be updated on a regular basis to highlight news, feature stories and articles by key actors in Serbia's justice sector.

This new web portal is intended to serve the needs of justice sector officials both in Serbia and other countries in the region, development professionals working on justice sector reform issues, journalists, academics, students and all those with an interest in justice sector reform and modernization in Serbia.
